So Jason is on his yearly team leader retreat for work until Sunday morning (I dread this one weekend out of the year). He went camping at Starvation Reservoir. I am here all by myself today and tomorrow until my family arrives to stay for the week. But don't worry about me; I will have my security system armed, my taser and pepper spray next to me on the nightstand, and will set up Chase's pack and play in our closet so I can lock and barricade my bedroom door. Just kidding, the security system and taser should do the trick. And I have plenty to do to keep me busy. I just feel so lonely when I know he's not around and feel like a single mom (which is probably my biggest fear). I may just break the rules tonight and let Bentley sleep on the bed with me.
Anyways, I miss you babe. I get really depressed when you are out of town. I am very grateful you don't travel for work (yet anyway) because I don't know what I would do. And when you do, you better take me with you. Or Rachel, you better come move in with me until he gets back!
Anyhow, I need to decide what to get for dinner...it's either Rumbi, Rumbi, or Rumbi because Cafe Rio is going to be way too packed. And Del Taco's Drive Thru is going to be out of control! Oh franchise owners, why can't you open more restaurants around here?

I hate when Chris is gone. It scares me to be home alone. Plus it doesn't help that I always watch those real life murder mystery shows. Anyway I put 911 in my phone and set it on the night stand all ready to push send. luckily I've never had to use it but it makes me feel better!
I feel your pain, Brooke. Matt just got back from being gone for 4 weeks and he leaves for another 4 weeks again at the end of September. Even when he's just gone for 1 night a week, I always hate it. Going to bed at night is depressing. Thank goodness for alarm systems. Just focus on absence making the heart grow fonder, and by all means - make Rachel stay with you! I would.
I sleep with the light on when Jayson is gone :) Luckily he isn't gone too often but he is going on his first business trip in October for 3 days and I am not looking forward to it.
I'm sorry he is gone! Did Josh go too? I hate when Jake leaves me too. If you need company just call me! We are always free.
Was he really gone till Sunday night? I have to say, I slept like a baby this time around:)
When Brandon is away I don't sleep very well, but the house stays pretty clean and the dogs are better behaved. My husband is wonderful but he is like a red-haired tornado!
Mmm...Rumbi sounds good. Next time you go you should give me a call. Besides it's been forever since I've seen you :)
