We Finally Moved!!

The move finally happened. We closed on both houses (old and new) on Wednesday, July 2. Then we moved most of our stuff out over the 4th of July weekend, so our holiday was lame! We spent it shopping for furniture (we were looking for a new kitchen table, king size bed and couches for our great room) and we ate at Tucanos. That night was spent loading more of our stuff into the truck. No fireworks, no parties, no relaxing...maybe next year.

We just got our internet installed on Monday. It's tough not having internet for almost 2 weeks! I don't know how I survived not being able to look at blogs and check my email. And do my internet shopping! Our house is coming along, we have internet, TV, changed all the bills into our name, have mail delivered here now...so it's feeling more like home. We are still in the process of unpacking and I haven't been able to do any real scrubbing/cleaning of the house (except for the kitchen), which makes me anxious. I like having my bathrooms and floors scrubbed.

Anyway, this was just a quick post to let you know we are up and running again, so my blogging will be resuming any day! I will post pictures of the house once I find our camera, and of course pictures of Chase, who is adjusting well to his new house. He is finally sleeping normally this week. I was getting tired of getting up at 6 am everyday and dealing with only 20 minute naps.
