Our Weekend

I just wanted to share what we did this weekend. It was Chase's first zoo trip. But before we headed to the zoo, we dropped some things off to Uncle Tyler and took the starving college student to breakfast at Cracker Barrel (we know you're jealous dad!) By the way, he's hardly starving, you should hear how much that kid is eating and enjoying his meal plan. And still as skinny as ever.

Chase in his high chair...of course as usual, he couldn't last a whole 20 minutes in it so I could finish my food.
Ty ty-ordered one of the biggest breakfasts on the menu!

I loved how this bear was sitting...such a cute vicious little thing

Carousel ride. Chase looked a little nervous. Towards the end of the ride, he just wanted Jason to hold him.

Dad and son checking out some monkies (the monkey up in the tree was holding her own little baby)
The zoo here is quite lame, it's very small and doesn't have many animals. But I thought this was pretty cool-it's a white alligator. There are only 10 white alligators known to exist in the world. Their skin is missing its pigment-it's a genetic mutation. It has very blue eyes, which you can't see in the picture.

Checkin out the rhino
I was having a hard time getting Chase to look at the camera. He was really interested in the animals. In this picture he is looking at a red panda.
