Time For Updates
So obviously I really need to update this blog! It just has been the last thing on my mind with all the stress and craziness that life has brought lately. I have tons of pictures to post of Chase and all the things we've been doing to keep him busy and having lots of fun. But here's our biggest news/events/happenings/going-ons, etc.:
-We found out this baby growing inside of me is another boy! When I spotted his male part on the ultrasound screen I had a single tear roll down my face-totally unexpected, I really didn't feel that sad it was a boy but I guess deep down I was really hoping for a girl. But I am soo excited Chase gets a little buddy who will hopefully become his best friend. And let's face it, we make cute boys-I just really pray this next boy will eat and talk!!
-Chase is 75% potty trained-and this kid decided to do it all on his own. At least he's not so difficult with everything because trying to understand this kid talk and trying to feed him food is all the difficulty I can handle right now! He keeps his diapers dry all throughout the day and night. We only wear underwear after he gets his #2 out for the day-I'm not cleaning up that mess in his pants! We still have to conquer the fear of letting his poop out in the toilet and sitting on the big toilet. It's a little hard to get out of the house for long periods of time when he won't use a big potty. I love though when he comes in our bedroom first thing in the morning shouting "YAY!!! PEE PEE POTTY!!! NEW TAR!!!" (he gets a new car when he pees or a piece of candy, his choice)
-Chase's vocab has just exploded and he is using 3 word sentences most of the time. His biggest problem now: TRYING TO UNDERSTAND HIM!!! He has therapy classes 3 days a week through most of the summer so we will be very busy with that!
-Our house was sold and then the the sale failed-thank goodness!!! The buyers backed out and I couldn't be happier, I won't go into the dirty details but let's just say they were not nice people at all. We have new buyers who are very nice and I'm glad they will be moving into the neighborhood. But all throughout the month of May I kept thinking we were moving so I was stressed with packing then we didn't move so I took a break and now who knows what weekend we will end up moving. Sometime at the end of the month. I have a feeling it will be 4th of July weekend, we always move during a holiday!
-I am now 23 weeks pregnant, my back hurts most of the time and I toss and turn all night. But it's worth it and I am in no way complaining. Jason and I are trying to come up with a name for this kid-it is next to impossible. Jason likes the names Xavier, Jefferson, Kingston, Anderson, blah blah blah. What am I supposed to do with those names? He did mention one that I kind of like but I can't share it with you yet!
Check back soon (well sooner than 6 months) for some pictures of all our activities!

Chase Loves the Gym!
Back in August I signed Chase up for a little mom and me gym class. I wanted him to be in some kind of class so he could get his energy out, be around a big group of kids his age and hopefully pick up some language from them so he will start talking! He absolutely loves it. He does a lot of happy squealing during the class and claps his hands. Hopefully we can do it during the long boring winter too! It's a little expensive (like a couple hundred dollars!) but totally worth it!
Here are some pictures of Chase during his gym class. It was fun today because Jason was able to stop by and join us! The gym is actually just right up the road from where he works. Chase's favorite is at the end when the teacher pulls out a basketball hoop and a ton of balls. He loves shooting hoops! I think I know what to get him for his birthday coming up...

Walking the beam-he's getting the hang of it, just a few weeks ago all he would was jump off it!
His cute little friend wanted to be in the picture! Chase plays quite a bit with this little boy during class

Swinging like a monkey! He loves to do this! He'll do it over and over. He is going to have some strong abs.

Hanging from the high bar! He kept wanting to hang from it and his little face would get so red from trying to hang on! He loved letting go and having dad catch him!

Our Weekend with Amber
Last weekend Jason's sister Amber came to visit. It was my first time meeting her since being with Jason for almost 7 years! She was really cute and fun. It's our goal to see each other once a year from now on!
She flew in late Friday night and left Monday morning so we only had Saturday and Sunday to spend time with her-it flew by way too fast! Saturday we took her to the Thanksgiving Point Gardens (they are gorgeous and Chase loved running around-he got pretty worn out) then ate at Texas Roadhouse. By the time we finally sat at our table (we waited 40 minutes) Chase had it. He was throwing fits at the table and would not just sit down and play with all the toys and eat the snacks I brought him. He finally calmed down in Amber's lap and played with her water.
On Sunday we went up to Snowbird, a ski resort up one of the many canyons here. Jason and I had never been but it was really fun. They have a lot of activities to do over the summer such as a tram ride, an alpine slide, a zip line, a ski lift to ride, a mechanical bull (none of us did that), a rockwall, etc. Chase had fun on the alpine slide and tram. On the ski lift Jason kept him in a death grip so he wouldn't wiggle out and fall the 100+ ft below us. Yes, he did try and wiggle out of the ski lift a few times. He also had a lot of fun pointing out the ski lifts going by us the opposite way. He would point and make his little squeaker sound anytime one passed us. He got even more excited when there were people on them. We also saw a moose from the ski lift but I was too scared to take my camera or anything else out of my purse for fear of dropping it and never seeing it again! Here are some pictures from Snowbird:
